One person died in a vehicle crash at Skyline Drive and Pevans Parkway on Saturday in Rapid City.
On Monday, the Rapid City Police Department confirmed Raven Marquez, 26, of Rapid City died after a crash that left his vehicle lying on its roof. Officers arrived on scene around 9:30 p.m. Marquez was not wearing a seatbelt, police said.
A passenger was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash — including its cause and any potential mitigating factors — by the Rapid City Police Department’s Critical Accident Reconstruction Team continues.Â
